Tips and tricks on applying our Silky Matte
Every liquid lipstick is different. Some are on the dry side, some are on the super comfortable side, ours is smack in the middle. What this means is you’re getting all of the staying power of a drier lippie combined with the weightlessness and comfort of the liquid mattes that tend to come off on the napkin. This is what we aimed for and why we’re so incredibly proud of our formula.
Depending on factors such as skin type, season etc it might be a good idea to exfoliate your pout once in a while before applying. This isn’t set in stone however, as you’ll find our lippies go on super comfortably.
Our shorter wand was created in order for you to be able to use your pinky finger as an anchor when applying. Together with our super precise doe foot applicator, this means greater control and a perfect outline. Simple, fast, easy and seamless.
Because our Silky Matte offers a one swipe super smooth application, it lends very well to creating ombre lips. We’ve seen you guys combine several of our shades, the most popular combo being by far Pash and Sienna. You can use both a brush or a finger to blend the shades before they set. Just be sure to apply a thin layer, a little goes a long way!
Whatever look you’re going for, it’s never a bad idea to apply a little highlighter to your Cupid’s bow to add that little bit of extra oomph. Maybe add a bit to the center of your lower lip, experiment and have fun!
